Here are the projects Small Towne Preservations is currently working to fund. Please feel free to reach out with questions, project ideas, funding opportunities, or volunteer opportunities.
We aim to bring our small town together with our community events. In 2022 we hosted the first Small Towne Feast where we gave away holiday meals . It was a bitterly cold night but we served up warm food and conversations!
In 2023 we will be adding to our event list starting with the inaugural Heritage Day and Tractor Show on June 10th in Downtown Sharon, WI. Click Here to learn more.
*UPDATE - Six benches have been purchased and are being place in front of downtown businesses! We hope to add at least six more benches and new planter boxes in 2023!
Our downtown is in need of a spruce up. We are raising funds to purchase new matching benches and flower planters to be placed in our historic downtown. Our goal is to create an inviting atmosphere where people can walk the downtown, shop and dine at local businesses, and take a seat to enjoy our historic landscape. Click here to donate now!
A fun baseball series will be forming for the summer of 2023. Good old fashioned sandlot baseball games with after game cookouts. All ages and skill levels welcome. Would you like to volunteer as a coach or umpire? Please send us a message!
One of the oldest buildings in downtown Sharon is the Prindle Building, home to a vintage four lane bowling alley. This building is in need of many repairs but has the potential to be a fun family entertainment space once again. Partnering with the building's owner, we are working to raise funds and in-kind donations to help restore the historic nature of the building and make it a destination for the village and surrounding community to enjoy.
